31 day song challenge 2021
I love music and, after years of curating playlists, I created a challenge where my friends make their own playlists, inspired by an image I found online years ago.
The challenge stands out by encouraging daily reflections on life before, during, and after the pandemic, culminating in a playlist that evokes personal connections and emotional memories.
The challenge focused on creating visually appealing designs on Instagram, using inviting color palettes and layouts that highlighted music as the centerpiece. Each day featured an introductory image, the day's theme, and music at the core. Participants brought their own creativity, making the challenge evolve and take on a life of its own.
What made me happiest was seeing the 31 Day Song Challenge grow organically, with friends sharing how influencers and celebrities were joining in—something I never imagined. To thank participants, I added Twitter thread versions and new color palettes, giving the project fresh energy. This experience inspired me to keep exploring creative ways to unite design and music.
